Yes! We start at the very beginning.

No, but you must be at least 15 1/2 years old and if under 18 must have a legal guardian accompany you to your first lesson.

You do not need a learner's permit for an initial class, but you must have either a learner's permit or an M1 license to go on one of our guided ("Mother Goose") rides.

No! We will teach you to shift.

It depends on your goals. Typically we have you riding within one lesson.

Usually our lessons are two hours. There is a lot to learn and you will be tired! We don't want you to be overwhelmed.

Humm. How long did it take you to learn to drive a car? More than an afternoon probably, and you don't need to learn how to balance a car or shift if it is an automatic. We usually get you riding within one lesson, but it will take many hours and lots of seat time to become a competent, safe motorcycle rider. We are just the first stop on your journey!

Yes! These are critical skills that will make you more confident when parking, maneuvering at slow speed, and making U-turns. In addition, slow speed skills improve your high speed riding too.

Yes, we have Honda Groms that are great for shorter students.

You must wear jeans (no holes), long sleeves, and shoes that cover your ankles. Canvas shoes and sneakers are not permitted.

Yes, as long as it is full-faced.

Only CMSP courses can issue these waivers. You must pass the CMSP MTC to obtain a DL-389.

Yes! We are happy to introduce your friends and loved ones to motorcycle riding so they can get on the road with you. We offer gift certificates for all of our classes. Simply email us and let us know who you would like the gift certificate to be made out to and for what amount or what class.
